As you may know, Japanese love rankings and polls, and this time goo music site made a survey asking "Which B'z single do you want to hear during summer?".
This survey was held within a group of 1137 men and women who are between 10 and 60 years old. Here are the results!

Right after the tour is over, B'z official website got updated to show a new opening video stating that the live video will hit in both DVD and Blu-Ray (Yes, that's high-definition B'z!!) flavors soon.

Expect more details in the future.

Tak & Koshi's Favorite Music from 2009

And you thought their music was diverse; look at the albums Koshi & Tak listed as their favorite releases from the year of 2009. One of them doesn't fit with the rest, to say the least. Certainly an interesting choice, I'd say.

Way to go there, guys! This has not been announced on the official website at the time of this posting.(Update: Now on official site as well) I just read it on a japanese blog, who read it in a newspaper this morning.

So yeah, 17th album "MAGIC". It's going to be out November 18th, 2009 (I told you so! November!). The Limited Edition comes with bonus documentary footage as well as live footage from SHOWCASE 2009 and SUMMER SONIC 2009. The bonus DVD is entitled "Magical Backstage Tour 2009".

Happy birthday B'z!

B'z debuted on September 21, 1988 and this is now their 21st year since their debut. Keep going B'z!!

I was hoping for a major announcement being made today, but unfortunately Japan is celebrating the Respect-for-the-Aged Day (敬老の日; keirou no hi) today, and on September 23rd, Japan will celebrate Autumnal Equinox (秋分の日; shuubun no hi), so there won't be any updates until holidays are over on September 24th. September 22 is also a holiday because it's in between two holidays.

Anyway, let's hope for some big news this week, and don't forget Koshi Inaba's birthday on September 23rd!!

B'z Comment on Ichibu to Zenbu (Translated)

Hours before the new drama for which B'z does the theme, Buzzer Beat, premiered, a special covering various aspects of it was aired. Near the end of it, a segment was shown with Tak and Koshi commenting on the production and feel of Ichibu to Zenbu--along with a clip of the PV of significant length (which also includes the solo).

As of today, the long rumored "B'z SHOWCASE 2009" has finally been announced. This, once again, seems to indicate a release of an album by the end of the year or early next year. B'z will clearly not do a LIVE-GYM this year. Don't get your hopes up, boys.

B'z SHOWCASE 2009 -B'z IN YOUR TOWN- will start July 20 and will go through until August 5. You're gonna have to pay 8000 Yen for an "A-Seat" ticket, 9000 Yen for a "S-Seat" ticket and 12000 Yen for a "SS-Seat" ticket. Schedule after the break.

B'z on Stage at Summer Sonic 09

Quite frankly, I knew this was gonna happen. When I checked out the lineup on the Official Summer Sonic 09 Website a week ago, there was a mysterious "SPECIAL GUEST from JAPAN" in the lineup. So yeah, I was thinking "This could only be B'z...". I speculated a lot, and I wasn't the only one considering various japanese blogs were speculating as well.

Now we have the confirmation that it is in fact B'z who will rock the stage at Summer Sonic 09, as an update has been posted on the Official B'z Website stating that B'z will perform at Summer Sonic 09.
The Schedule is as follows:

Tokyo: August 8th, Marine Stage
Osaka: August 9th, Ocean Stage

B'z New Single "DIVE"

There have been rumors about B'z New Single going to be called "DIVE" because when the new flash site was uploaded, it contained a 20 second sample. It was immediately deleted thereafter, but a few people were able to check out the filename which was "DIVE_0514".

Rumors aside, today a new flash video has been added to B'z PARTY's Official Website. Check it out below. "DIVE" will be featured in the new Suzuki Swift Commercial going on air May 30th.
