News

Word was out early this time, as we already knew that B’z new album was called “C’mon” and would be out in July, so we were just waiting for B’z Official Website to get updated today! I proudly present B’z new album 「C’mon」! It’ll be out July 27th, and feature 13 tracks with Sayonara Kizu Darake no Hibi yo, Homebound, Don’t Wanna Lie and ultra soul 2011 among them. I’m hugely disappointed by the limited edition: The CD+DVD version will come with the music videos of Sayonara Kizu Darake no Hibi yo, Don’t Wanna Lie and the new track C’mon.

In other words, all the people who bought the CD+DVD version of B’z past two singles, will have nothing but the music video of C’mon as an extra. Who came up with such a crappy idea?
Limited as well as regular editions will include a card with which you can enter a lottery to win tickets for a special B’z live in September. (see below)

B’z new song C’mon, which is also the title of the new album, will be the new PEPSI NEX commercial song starting from July. B’z will likely also be featured in the commercial. In addition to that, PEPSI NEX’ summer campaign gives you the chance to win 2 tickets for a special B’z performance called “PEPSI NEX presents B’z 1DAY LIVE” at Shibuya AX on September 28th.

On to other news: the support members for the North American, as well as the Japanese tour have been announced! Also, the Japanese tour is called B’z LIVE-GYM 2011 -C’mon-.

AWESOME! Although could have taken one or more new tracks instead of Homebound (considering b-sides usually don’t make it) & new Ultra Soul (not a big fan of that song).

    1. Tobias says:

ultra soul certainly doesn’t deserve to be on the album… As for Homebound, I’m glad it made it onto the album as I really like that one!!

I agree, it’s a good one. Certainly better than the usual b-sides (although of course B’z has plenty of GREAT b-sides). Was just being greedy with the new songs.. this one has more new songs than Magic did before. And then again, quantity isn’t always a good thing as seen with Action which had it’s share of filler..

        1. Chi says:

More songs than Magic? Magic has 12 full songs if you don’t count introduction. And C’mon has 12 new songs as well, because ultra song is a remake. B-sides of singles related to Magic are National Holiday, Kirei na Namida… I don’t know how to qualified Ballad version of Ichibu to Zenbu XD B-sides of newest singles are Dawn Runner and Homebound which is on album. So if upcoming single doesn’t have totally new b-side, worktime from Magic would have one more song 😉 Or am I just creepy at Maths xPPP

          1. Ak says:

Oh nevermind, both have 9 NEW songs.

  2. Chi says:

Second album with ultra soul? I kinda don’t get it, even if it’s new version it’s very similar to this Green one… They should have put more tracks there XD But I think that they have put ultra soul on this album to make Chinese people buy it. And next song for pepsi nex’, so it’s much bigger collaboration than I expected… I’m very curious about whole album 🙂
… and you know what? Good that Dawn Runner isn’t on it XDD

  3. Lebon14 says:

So here it is. I was waiting for it to show up. Well, what can we say? Ultra Soul is always welcome. Like the tune. I think the difference between the 2011 vers. and the single version is that 2011 vers. completely removes the “techno” sounds. Anyway. I was expecting I Don’t Wanna Lie but… (rant) WHY HOMEBOUND?! God, they had to choose the worst B-Side of the two!Dawn Runner is amazing compared to Homebound.(/rant)

Kinda undecided if it’s worth to get the DVD. Want to see C’mon but already have “Sayonara Kizu […]” and DWL… you already know my opinion on it…

To finish, the album happens in the worst times for me… a time where I will have paid a new alternator my for car and the beginning of the month where I will have to pay for my car licence… And I have ~400$ CAD/month.

I totally agree with Tobias about the extra dvd. WTF? Don’t they have anything better to put into it?
ultra soul is probably an Ocean-like commercial move, but I can understand it. I’ll never complain about ultra soul tough XD
