Japan’s TV channel TV Asahi is celebrating their 55th Anniversary this year and will open a new venue this winter called the EX THEATER ROPPONGI. To commemorate the opening of this venue, a special B’z concert is going to be conducted at the EX THEATER ROPPONGI on November 30th. Tickets can be obtained through a giveaway that starts with the release of the two 25th Anniversary compilations 「B’z The Best XXV 1988-1998」 and 「B’z The Best XXV 1999-2012」.

To participate in the giveaway, you will have to buy both compilations (normal or limited edition). Each of the releases will have a card in it that will allow you to take part in the giveaway. You will need both to enter. Just one of them is not sufficient. How the giveaway works exactly, is described on the cards shipping with the CD releases. We will let you know once we have them!

850 lucky people will get the chance to get two tickets to the show on November 30th. The deadline for taking part in the giveaway is October 31st, 2013.

Too bad that it’s the usual “Japan only”.
I purchased both album and I suppose that will come with it…

Now that I think about it… it might take value if I keep them 😀

In the first sentence, I meant that for those who would be able to pay for the expense of going to Japan for the show. It’s not that I wanted to go. Well, I would LOVE to go, but I simply can’t. Just clarifying.

What’s with the attitude? I’m sure you can win tickets being someone from abroad. So it’s not “Japan only”. I know I will try to get those tickets although I’m already going to Japan in September for the 9/21 Pleasure show.

Lebon always has an attitude every time he comment, whether it’s here, youtube or the old b’z forum.

        1. Lebon14 says:

I don’t always have this attitude. I’m just pissed off at the fact that these promotions are >Usually< for Japan only. The fan abroad that doesn't have any Japan contact to participate in such contests will feel helpless in such promotional stunts when they really wanted to participate. I know there are services online that offers "a mailbox" so to say but most fans either don't know about that or, if they do, they might think it's too complicated or don't have the extra money to invest in a middle-man.

@Tobias Well, I'm pretty sure they don't intend outsiders to participate. Unless you can prove otherwise. In fact, I never saw any evidence that either prove me wrong. Also you are a minority of the western fans to have the money to actually travel and go to a show. Just saying.

P.S Well, pissed off…… I have to be honest. Jealousy might have a role in that.

P.P.S I once said on YT, on the Kakushin video, that "It's an 'OK' song… I much prefer Q&A over Kakushin, unfortunately." I was downvoted to death. For what reason? For stating an opinion? For being a gaijin on a Japanese video? I'm not being mad there, I'm just staing an opinion!

P.P.P.S No hard feelings, I am just explaining myself and I would have talked in a normal conversation tone.

            1) Stop whining, please. You had the chance to see B’z in your own country last year. And you didn’t. Why? Because you didn’t have the money. Which brings me to 2) “Also you are a minority of the western fans to have the money to actually travel and go to a show.”. You have a good point there, and that’s also the answer to your problem. Why would they run a promotion overseas for people who can’t go anyway? Even if overseas fans “officially” had the chance to apply, how many people do you think would apply?

B’z is a Japanese band with a massive Japanese fanabase and Japan is their homeland, so it’s logical they would be running a contest that would be mostly for their native land where their main fanbase is located. They don’t have that big of foreign fanbase, so why would they care? I agree with Tobias, stop whining.
