B'z Official Website now also reports that B'z is participating in Music For Relief by contributing a song to the tracklist: HOME English version.
B'z has also taken the time to say a few words as to why they're participating:
Our country now faces a crisis we've never experienced before. In order to rebuild the beautiful houses in our country, we all have to do something. If playing music can help people in the disaster zone, then that's what we can do for them right now. And as such, that's exactly the thing we have do to right now.
Linkin Park's non-profit organization "Music For Relief" has started to collect donations for earthquake victims in Japan. If you donate only $10, you'll get access to a growing number of songs available for download. B'z, among others, has contributed a song to the tracklist: The English version of HOME.

B'z management has donated over 50 million Yen(500,000€ / $625,000) to help out people that have lost their homes due to the quake. But that is not all: They are also sending goods such as water into the disaster zone to provide assistance in supplying people with fresh water and food. Taking into account the goods as well as the generous donation, the total value of the donation amounts to more than 100 million Yen.
Being Group - which B'z recording label belongs to - has refused to announce the donation publicly as they do not want it to come off as promotion for the company. The information has been uncovered by an insider who then passed it on to a newspaper, namely Tokyo Sports.
The report states that Being Group has set up emergency headquarters to ensure the safety of their staff and their families.
He also says that Tak Matsumoto has taken interest in doing a collaboration with AKB48 to compose a new song which is different from his current ballads. No plans have been revealed yet, though.
Due to the emergency situation caused by last Friday's earthquake, the release of new single "Sayonara Kizu Darake no Hibi yo" was postponed, as we can learn on B'z official website. The reason for this are production as well as distribution difficulties.
This isn't a big surprise, as many other artists and recording labels have already postponed release scheduled for March 23th and 30th.
Also, B'z the Store, B'z PARTY Store, and VERMILLION STUDIO online stores have temporarily ceased activities.
A new release date has yet to be arranged.
