Japan’s TV channel TV Asahi is celebrating their 55th Anniversary this year and will open a new venue this winter called the EX THEATER ROPPONGI. To commemorate the opening of this venue, a special B’z concert is going to be conducted at the EX THEATER ROPPONGI on November 30th. Tickets can be obtained through a giveaway that starts with the release of the two 25th Anniversary compilations 「B’z The Best XXV 1988-1998」 and 「B’z The Best XXV 1999-2012」.

To participate in the giveaway, you will have to buy both compilations (normal or limited edition). Each of the releases will have a card in it that will allow you to take part in the giveaway. You will need both to enter. Just one of them is not sufficient. How the giveaway works exactly, is described on the cards shipping with the CD releases. We will let you know once we have them!

850 lucky people will get the chance to get two tickets to the show on November 30th. The deadline for taking part in the giveaway is October 31st, 2013.

Two special issues of the Music Freak magazine are going to be available for sale at LIVE-GYM venues during the band’s B’z LIVE-GYM Pleasure 2013 -ENDLESS SUMMER- 25th anniversary tour. The two issues will be a compilation of the past featurings of the band in the Music Freak as well as Music Freak Es magazines. The first issue will be called 「music freak magazine & Es Flash Back B’z XXV Memories I」and will feature snippets from 1995 to 2003 for a total of 294 pages. The second issue is called 「music freak magazine & Es Flash Back B’z XXV Memories II」and will feature snippets from 2003 to 2012 for a total of 268 pages.

Both issues will go on sale at the same time and will cost 2,800 yen each. Where the magazines will be sold at the venue, will be announced on the official website on the day of the show.

The band has just announced that they will perform on an episode of Music Station, which is set to air on June 14th, 2013. Just one day prior to the band’s 25th anniversary tour B’z LIVE-GYM PLEASURE 2013 -ENDLESS SUMMER- kicking off, B’z will be on Music Station for an all night B’z special. Additionally, the top B’z songs viewers want B’z to sing will be announced. The program is conducting a survey for that purpose. The band will perform four songs on the show! Three of them will be fan requests!

Click on 応募する and then fill out the form. The first input field is 曲名 (song name), the second field is 性別 (gender), so choose 男性(male) or 女性(female). The newest song by B’z, entitled “Q&A“, has started airing as the new opening to the anime series Detective Conan as of May 4th. “Q&A” is set to be released as part of B’z The Best XXV 1999-2012 — one of the two best-of compilations B’z is going to release on June 12th of this year. In addition to the song premiering on the anime series, B’z has also published a 90 second excerpt from their newest effort’s music video. (Be warned: It features a samurai warrior fighting multiple fierce ninjas. Brace yourselves!)

The logo for the upcoming 25th Anniversary tour B’z LIVE-GYM Pleasure 2013 -ENDLESS SUMMER- has been posted on the band’s official website as well as the LIVE-GYM’s website. It conveys the “summer feeling” very well and raises hopes for a very heated tour! Additionally, the support members for this year’s tour have been announced. Unsurprisingly, the support members are the same as during last year’s tour!

B’z have announced that they are going to perform live on stage with Aerosmith on August 8th, 2013 in Tokyo. The event is called Aerosonic and will be held at the famous QVC Marine Field, which is located within the Stadium of the Chiba Lotte Marines, a Japanese baseball team. Tickets are going to be on sale June 9th. Fanclub tickets are also said to be available through B’z PARTY.

This is not the first time for B’z to team up with Aerosmith. 11 years ago, during the 2002 FIFA World Cup, Aerosmith was joined by B’z on stage to jam out to Train Kept A Rollin’. Check it out here if you missed it!
