B’z To Release Two 25th Anniversary Best-Of Compilations
News At the same time, when B’z announced the schedule for their 25th anniversary tour, the band has also announced the release of two best-of compilations slated for a June 12th, 2013 release. It is a collection of all A sides of singles released by B’z to date, split into two releases: 「B’z The Best XXV 1988-1998」 and 「B’z The Best XXV 1999-2012」. What’s more, the limited 2CD+DVD edition comes with a DVD that will contain the music videos for every single released to date. Additionally, each release includes two new songs, for a total of four new songs! These tracks are: HEAT, Kakushin, Q&A and Utopia!
Also, don’t miss out on the newly designed Official B’z YouTube channel, which now features the music video for every single ever released!
The 2CD+DVD version will be priced at 3,500 Yen and the 2CD version will be priced at 2,800 Yen.

B’z LIVE-GYM PLEASURE 2013 -ENDLESS SUMMER- Dates Announced

B’z has finally broken the silence regarding their tour plans and has just announced the schedule for their PLEASURE 2013 tour! Pre-orders for the hall part of the tour are set to start on April 16th 12:00 PM Japanese time, and will run until April 21st 6:00 PM Japanese time. E-Plus is conducting the pre-orders, and the site for the pre-orders will go live here: http://eplus.jp/Bz-25/. The pre-order dates for the dome tour will be announced at a later date.

News B’z LIVE-GYM 2008 “ACTION” is out now on DVD and Blu-ray! Tak and Koshi have released a message for their fans concerning the long awaited home video release of this LIVE-GYM tour. Among pre-orders of upcoming releases, this home video release was ranked 2nd with only NEWS’ home video release of their “LIVE TOUR 2012~Utsukushii Koi ni suru yo~” tour gathering more pre-orders. –NOTE: This is actually a joke by Tak. He is referencing an anime show from the 70s called “Hakushon Daimaou”(link). Japanese people pronounce ACTION as “akushon” which almost sounds like “hakushon”.

Before B’z appeared on stage, a segment was shown in which the band’s history of SUPER LIVE performances was detailed. B’z appeared on the first ever Music Station SUPER LIVE in 1992, during their 5th anniversary. They performed their million selling hit “ZERO” on stage. Since 2007, B’z have not been present on television as they used to. In 2008, the band was busy celebrating their 20th anniversary and the only time they appeared on television was during the 20th anniversary NHK special. The following year, in 2009, the band didn’t perform on television at all, except for a short comment recorded for their then latest single Ichibu to Zenbu. The last time B’z performed on television was last year, on April 1st, when they performed Sayonara Kizu Darake no Hibi yo and Brotherhood on a Music Station special. For the first time in 5 years, B’z is making an appearance on a Music Station SUPER LIVE.
